Global Entry Vol. 3

For our 1st release of 2022 Sol Selectas is proud to present the 3rd volume of our highly acclaimed Global Entry series. This compilation features 11 original songs, and explores genres like minimal, deep tech, and indie dance. Each song tells its own psychedelic story, fusing ethnic elements along with hints of disco, dub, and techno.

We are excited to welcome 2 new female producers to the label,. “Canim” from Ece Ekran of Turkey, features original Indian vocals and a strong tribal groove.“Queen Wand” by Deenara from the Ukraine, delivers a trippy Indie dance track with infectious vocal bits, funky bass, and massive percussion buildups.

Daschund and Quenum are both well known in other musical scenes, and when we heard their song “Reverse” we instantly got hoooked on the dubby deep tech feelings, and clever use of vocal chops. Clay Lio is a new Egyptian artist whose song “la Terre Perle” is a deep uplifting journey with emotional piano stabs and seductive spoken words. Memo Rex is from San Diego, and his minimal flamenco guitar inspired tune “Tangible” is pure groove, with lots of percussive energy.

Sol Selectas artist like Derun, Namito, Hot Oasis, Golan Zocher & Choopie, Guy Mayaan, and KONI will be familiar names, as they have released on several projects in the past. Derun’s Arabic electric guitar track Med Cezir translates to “Tide flow” and this song takes us up and down on a true cosmic ride. “Namito’s “Mad Heart” features his 2 sisters Mojgan & Marjan, and reinterprets a classic Persian song into contemporary deep house. Hot Oasis delivers “Bedoiuin Joy”, a cosmic desert caravan into the sands of the Sahara. “Camel Steps” by Israeli duo Golan Zocher and Choppie, is masterful piece of minimal tech / dub, with echo effects chord stabs, deep bass, and an entrancing flute sample. Guy Mayaan’s “Greatest Show” is a cheeky playful tune circus Carnaval sounds, reminding us all to just have fun on the dance floor. KONI’s song “ Danza Shqipetare “ is downtempo dedication to land of Albania, and is a perfect closer for this Interstellar journey.

Helia’s artwork takes us beyond time and space as we travel through the cosmic portal of music, the Global pathway to a higher consciousness.
