Los Angeles May 16th - 17th!!!

Saturday the 16th I'm djing at the Custom Hotel's Summer Pool Party again. We're expecting beautiful 78 degrees, and lots of funky tunes all day! Don't miss out, I'll be rocking with Tal M Klein, Wiseacre, and resident pimp Eduardo Castillo.

On Sunday afternoon, i'll be rocking the secret outdoor Do-Over party by day, then i'll be headlining the side room of DEEP for Marques Wyatt's resident night. Sabo in Hawaii for Mardi Gras Carnaval!!!

I'm heading off to Honolulu to a special Mardi Gras Street festival to kick off the 2009 Carnval party!! I am super excited to rock some baile funk, samba, batucada, and brazilian house for this party. This is a FREE outdoor event from 6pm til midnite, and i'll be rocking a 3 hour set! Be sure to come out if you're in Hawaii!

Free Mix from Inauguration Party !!!

Free mix give away!! My live set at the Huffington Post Inauguration!!! It was an incredible night of A-list celebrities, with Sheryl Crow, Will I Am, and Sting performing live. Here's my final 50 minute set to close out the night, after Sting went on.

Nappy G released 2 volumes of Global Party Sounds, his latest project which includes an all-star remix crew of Red Astaire, Kid Gusto, Dj Smash, and myself. I did a remix of "Bushwick Baile" which features the vocals of Zuzuka Poderosa. These tracks are available digital only.

Video Blog Germany

A few weeks ago my friend Matthias followed me around for the day, to do a feature on Sol*Selectas, and life in NYC. We spent some time at my crib working on a track with Zeb, walked around the East Village, stopped by Turntable Lab, and then he came to the Hotel QT to check out the monthly pool party I dj called LOVE. Here is the final edit, complete with German intro and translation.

Check out this YOUTUBE clip I just posted of me djing in Blacksburg, VA, at the Boogieburg Soundsystem party. I'm dropping the remix that Uriel and I made of Balkan Beat Box's track "Digital Monkey". This remix wasn't even out yet, so the crowd was definately hearing this song for their first time ever, and they went nuts. I still can't believe we didn't even place in that remix contest. Oh well...the tracks is out now, on Sol*Selectas EP 05, so grab your copy today!

Sol*Selectas EP 06 in Stores Now

The 6th release on Sol*Selectas joins label-head Sabo with Uriel (aka B.N. Loco) from Mexico on the production credits. The EP contains 4 very different style tracks,ranging from a funky disco re-edit, a rock-infused breakbeat stormer, a latin mid-tempo heater with a brazilian samba breakdown, and a cumbia hip hop remix.
