East to West

Sol Selectas is very excited to present the East to West EP from newly signed artist Da Mike. 


Da Mike lives in Greece, and has been a rising star in the Afro House scene with notable releases on Saved, RISE, Connected, and MoBlack. 

“East to the Sun” takes the sitar instrument of India on a vacation to an African Safari. The percussion and energetic synth work, along with deep vocal chants, and uplifting sitar melodies, keep the vibes high. 

“West to the Sun” contains earthly audio elements, live percussion fills, and bubbling bass notes, layered over ethereal vocal mantras, to create a powerful dance floor experience. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali showcases our multidimensional universe from East to West, full of magic and mystery.
